Social Responsibility

Founded by the father-son team of John and Mark X. Cronin, Paumonok Harbor House builds on their success with John’s Crazy Socks, a social enterprise with a mission to spread happiness.

The books we publish have a mission to provide a platform for the voices making a positive difference in the world. We want the books we publish to highlight what people with differing abilities can achieve and the social impact that businesses can have. We want to inspire, encourage and empower. We want our publications to make a difference.

Most importantly, we want to ensure that the voices of people with differing abilities are heard. John has Down syndrome and he wants his story to be told. We provide a platform for others with a differing ability to tell their stories. We champion their achievements.

We do not believe it is enough to sell stuff. We donate five percent of our profits to Special Olympics New York because John is a Special Olympic athlete and loves the Special Olympics. The Special Olympics empower people with differing abilities just as we want to do.
